The leaves have a golden edge by nature, and they glisten in the sunlight. Placing it at home can instantly enhance the style of the space. You can enjoy both the flowers and the leaves, and it will be the focal point wherever it is placed.

The flowering period of "Cranberry with Golden Edge" is also very impressive. Under normal maintenance, a single flower can bloom for 2 to 3 months, and the entire plant's flowering period can last up to 4 to 6 months. If it is well-maintained, it can even rebloom multiple times a year.

Many flower enthusiasts are worried that niche varieties are difficult to take care of. However, as long as you master a few small techniques for Phalaenopsis "Cranberry with Golden Edge", it can bloom every year.

**Light**: Phalaenopsis "Cranberry with Golden Edge" doesn't like direct strong light. In daily life, it can be placed in a place with sufficient diffused light, such as by the window in the living room or the inner side of the balcony. Ensuring 4 to 6 hours of light exposure per day can meet its growth requirements. When the light is too strong in summer, be sure to pull up the sheer curtain for shading, otherwise the leaves are likely to get sunburned. In winter, it can be exposed to a bit more sunlight appropriately to promote flower bud differentiation.

**Watering**: Phalaenopsis "Cranberry with Golden Edge" has fleshy roots and is most afraid of waterlogging and root rot. When watering, follow the principle of "watering when the soil is dry and making it thoroughly wet when watering". In summer, due to the high temperature and fast water evaporation, it is necessary to water about once every 3 to 4 days. Water in the morning or evening, avoiding the high-temperature period at noon. In other seasons, water once every 7 to 10 days, and adjust it flexibly according to the environmental humidity. If the air is dry, you can spray mist around the plant to increase the humidity, but don't spray water directly onto the flowers and leaves, as it is likely to cause rotting.

**Temperature**: The most suitable temperature for the growth of Phalaenopsis "Cranberry with Golden Edge" is between 15 and 28 °C. It has poor cold resistance. When the temperature is lower than 10 °C in winter, it should be quickly moved indoors for warmth preservation, otherwise it is easy to get frostbitten. When the temperature exceeds 30 °C in summer, strengthen the ventilation. It can also be placed in an air-conditioned room, but don't let it face the air outlet.

**Fertilization**: During the growth period, apply a general-purpose water-soluble fertilizer diluted 1000 times once every 10 to 15 days to promote the growth of stems and leaves. Before the flowering period, increase the application of phosphorus and potassium fertilizers, such as potassium dihydrogen phosphate. Dilute it 1500 times and then use it to water the roots or spray the leaves, about once every 10 days. This can make the flower spikes grow more and the flowers fuller. Stop fertilizing during the flowering period and the dormancy period to avoid fertilizer damage.
