Today, I'd like to introduce to you six kinds of flowers that are extremely sun-resistant and have strong vitality, which are suitable for planting on the rooftop.

**Bougainvillea**

Bougainvillea is also known as paperflower. It has a rich variety of cultivars. From the classic large red with green leaves to the fresh Tong'an Red and Zhangzhou Hongying, they are all very popular. The more sunlight it gets, the more flowers it will produce. When the red, pink, and purple flowers bloom like a waterfall, it's really astonishing. The maintenance is very simple. Use loose and breathable sandy soil. Water it 2-3 times a week during the growth period. Apply potassium dihydrogen phosphate once a week before the flowering period. After the flowers wither, promptly trim the withered flowers and the overgrown branches, and it will soon bloom again!

**Crape Myrtle**

The bark of the crape myrtle is smooth, and the branches are twisted. It has the nickname of "Ticklish Tree" because the branches will sway when gently touched. Its flower posture is graceful, with a terminal panicle. When the flowers bloom, the whole tree is full of blossoms. In daily care, just water it thoroughly to keep the soil slightly moist. Apply organic fertilizer once in early spring every year, and supplement some compound fertilizer during the flowering period. Pay attention to aphids. If you find them, spraying some soapy water can solve the problem.

**Portulaca Grandiflora**

Portulaca grandiflora is also called moss rose. It has a tenacious vitality and is known as the plant that "can live as soon as it touches the soil". Mix common garden soil with river sand. Water it once a day and apply thin fertilizer frequently (apply compound fertilizer once every half month). The double-petal varieties have a large number of flowers. Remember to trim the withered flowers after they fade, and it can bloom again!

**Jasmine**

The flowers of jasmine are pure white and elegant, with a rich fragrance. It needs more than 6 hours of sunlight every day. Water it when the soil turns white and dries out. Apply alum fertilizer water once a week during the growth period to improve the soil's pH. After the flowers fade, trim them 2 pairs of leaves below the withered flowers, and new shoots will soon emerge.

**Mandevilla**

Mandevilla is also known as Dipladenia. Its flowers are shaped like small trumpets and have bright colors. Plant it with peat soil and perlite. Keep the potting soil moist but avoid waterlogging. Apply slow-release fertilizer once a month. After the flowers fade, cut off the withered flowers and the thin and weak branches. When the temperature is lower than 10°C, move it indoors, and it will continue to bloom abundantly next year!

**Plumbago Auriculata**

The branches of plumbago auriculata are slender, and the flowers are clustered in a spherical shape. The blue-purple color is especially refreshing in summer. Plant it with general-purpose nutrient soil. Water it once in the morning and once in the evening every day to avoid dehydration. Apply Flower多多2 (a kind of fertilizer) once a month during the vigorous growth period. After the flowers fade, severely prune the branches, and it will soon grow into a large flower ball!

These six kinds of flowers not only have high ornamental value but also have a low maintenance difficulty. Even novice gardeners can easily take care of them.
