Oncidium Orchid

In extreme cold temperatures, there is a risk of freezing the flower stems and leaves. Therefore, after the temperature drops in autumn and winter, it’s recommended to bring the plant indoors for care.
Freesia
Freesia, also known as fragrant snowbell or pure-scented lily by some flower shop owners, belongs to the Iridaceae family and is a perennial bulb flower. Despite its small size, its overall shape is balanced, with upright flower stalks and rich colors, giving it a proud, delicate appearance. When the flowers bloom, they release a famous fragrance known in the perfume industry, as many high-end perfumes are made from the flower’s essence.
Care Tips
The ideal growing temperature for Freesia is around 15-20°C. It’s recommended to place it near a bright window, such as an east or north-facing windowsill, as it enjoys ample sunlight. For daily care, keep the soil slightly moist and apply a phosphorus and potassium-based compound fertilizer once a month during the growing season to promote blooming.
Daphne
Daphne is a traditional flower in China, renowned for its fragrant scent. Even if only one or two flowers bloom, the entire room will be filled with its fragrance. The plant generally grows as a shrub or small tree, with slender, slightly curved branches and small, delicate flowers that are usually white or pale yellow. Its blooming period is relatively long, lasting about 3-4 months.

Although Daphne has a long blooming period, the budding time spans across both autumn and winter. The flower buds typically appear at the end of autumn, so it’s important to add fertilizer to the soil at this time to help extend the flowering period.
