For plant lovers, Phalaenopsis orchids are considered flowers that combine both beauty and symbolism. Their flowers have a unique butterfly shape, and due to the variety of species, they come in a wide range of vibrant colors. However, although they are a popular choice for home decoration, many plant enthusiasts encounter a puzzling question during the care process. Once Phalaenopsis orchids enter the flowering spike growth stage, their nutritional and water requirements become extremely particular. Over-watering at this stage can lead to root rot, while a lack of nutrients will affect the shape and growth speed of the flowers. Therefore, repotting at this time requires extra attention to avoid environmental changes.

Most people want to repot their orchids to encourage continued growth, but repotting after the flower spike begins growing is a bit risky.
